Tenby House is continually looking for staff to join our team of carers and support staff. For some positions, experience is not absolutely essential as training will be provided. For other positions you will need to have relevant experience and be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2. What is crucially important is that you are able to work as part of a team, share the same vision as the Management and the rest of the staff and can demonstrate that you have the necessary drive, desire and commitment to providing high quality and uncompromising Care for our Residents. Tenby House is committed to the ongoing development of its staff in order to benefit the welfare of residents. In addition to regular individual supervision, annual appraisals and mentoring a full training and development programme is in place that covers, amongst many other courses, Moving and Handling, Fire Training, First Aid, Health and Safety, Protection of Vulnerable Adults and Medication Administration. Tenby House is an Equal Opportunities employer. Employees are selected and treated on the basis of their relevant merits and abilities and are given Equal Opportunities within the Home. It is the Home's policy as an employer to treat all people equally irrespective of race, ethnic origin, sex, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, creed, disability, age or political belief. All positions at Tenby House require a criminal records check by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) as part of the recruitment process. All applicants must complete a CRB Disclosure form which will then be used by the CRB to do the Enhanced Check. This check will contain spent and unspent convictions and may also include any additional Police information. Additionally, all positions will require the receipt of two satisfactory written references and, possibly, a further two telephone references. If you would like to apply for a position at Tenby House you should, in the first instance, contact the Registered Manager, on 01903 502687 to see which positions are available. Alternatively, you may use the Contacts and Information page to contact us via email.
